Season 101 kicks off at the Cranford Dramatic Club on Friday, September 27 with a 1980s musical that looks at the Cold War through the perspective of a chess match. Cranford’s newest business, a QuickChek convenience store and gas station, is set to open Tuesday, September 10 at 5 am. A ribbon-cutting took place Monday afternoon with a number of QuickChek and town officials in attendance, including Mayor Patrick Giblin, Senator Tom Kean Jr. and Assemblywoman Nancy Muñoz.
