Cranford Radio Headlines for Week of August 23

A public meeting to consider a contentious proposal for a cell tower on the campus of Union County College has been postponed and Cranford cops got a dunking for a worthy cause.

A taste of fall is in the air for this weekend’s weather and it should make Sunday’s downtown street fair very comfortable.

Cranford Radio Headlines for Week of August 2

While much of the election attention is focused on the race for the White House in 2020, there’s also an important non-partisan choice coming up this November on the local ballot. Six candidates have announced their plans to run for the three open seats on the Cranford Board of Education.

Another deer hunt is planned in Union County parks, including two in Cranford, but dates are still to be determined.

This Tuesday join citizens from around the US as they mark National Night Out. The Cranford Police Department will again host activities between 6 and 9.
