Saint Michael School to Present The Music Man

The St. Michael School Drama Club will be presenting The Music Man at the school on May 25 and 26 at 7 pm. Fourth through eighth grade students are in the play with other children working behind the scenes. Lorraine DeMan is the director of the play and she spoke with Cranford Radio‘s Bernie Wagenblast about the production.

The Drowsy Chaperone Coming to the CDC

The 2016 Tony Awards are in the news but it’s a 2006 multiple Tony Award winner that will be getting all the attention at the Cranford Dramatic Club this month. The Drowsy Chaperone will be presented May 6 through 15 at the theatre at 78 Winans Avenue in Cranford.

As they do their final rehearsals Cranford Radio spoke with the directors, Ken and Mary Webb, as well as three of the performers, E. Dale Smith-Gallo, Judi Laganga and Gene Lough. We began with Ken Webb giving an overview of the play.
