Winter Pays a Visit to Cranford

No, I’m not talking the season just passed, but a man by the name of Winter who is on a quest to visit every company-owned Starbucks in the world. The most recent store added to his list was the new Starbucks in Downtown Cranford. We chatted by phone to talk about his mission and his impression of the Cranford store.

Cranford Jaycees Holding Easter Egg Hunt/Pancake Breakfast

One sure sign of spring is the annual Cranford Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 12 in the field behind Orange Avenue School. All that egg hunting is sure to build-up an appetite, but don’t worry, the Jaycees have you covered with their Pancake Breakfast the following day at the Cranford VFW Hall. US Army Corps of Engineers Makes Presentation on Rahway River Flooding

On Monday, the US Army Corps of Engineers provided an update on their  Rahway River Basin Flood Risk Management Feasibility Study. The presentation provided preliminary benefit-cost numbers of ten alternatives. Chris Gardner, a spokesman for the New York District of the Army Corps, spoke by phone with Cranford Radio to talk about what was presented and next steps.
