Cranford Resident Bette Jane Kowalski Begins New Term on Freeholder Board

The Union County Board of Freeholders held their annual reorganization meeting Sunday in Elizabeth. Cranford resident Bette Jane Kowalski was sworn in for a new three-year term. Also sworn in were freeholders Linda Carter and Sergio Granados, as well as Sheriff Ralph Froehlich, who begins his 13th term. Linden’s Christopher Hudak was selected by the freeholders to serve as chairman for 2014. He told Cranford Radio what he sees as the priorities for 2014.
